Is it weird that this is how I reacted to getting a job? YAY!!

So I have been MIA for a couple of weeks, BUT some super exciting things happened during these past 3 weeks.  I’ll give a recap of each week

Week 1: I went to DC for almost 3 days for an interview with a company a sorority sister works for (she actually got me the interview). I ended up not getting the job, but I did get to see two of my very best friends from Miami, so it made the trip! Oh and I fell in love with DC all over again and decided that I REALLY want to move there.

Week 2: I went on a “real world spring break” with my sister and parents to Naples, FL! It was AMAZING!! The weather was absolutely perfect and the time spent with the family was even better. The only thing missing was my brother who was unable to make it :(

Week 3: I found out during my spring break that another company where I applied wanted me to come to DC for an interview (again). So I went back to DC for another interview but wasn’t even in the city for a full 24 hours (yikes). Obviously a super quick trip (this was on Wednesday). I found out the next day (Thursday) that I GOT THE JOB!!! It was originally for a position in San Fran, BUT because I told them about my love for DC I will now be working in DC!!! I am SO SO SO excited but a little nervous/anxious because I start IN TWO WEEKS (EKKKK!!!!!)

So now I have to figure out where to live and what to do with my current apartment in Cincinnati. It’s all a little hectic right now but so exciting! I can’t wait to start this new adventure! And if anyone has any advice on where to live in DC or ANYTHING, please pass it along!
